Shabby Stocking Album

I love creating and designs new things.  For this particular project I designed a chipboard Jester/Stocking Christmas Album.

The album itself consist of 4 pages and I used papers and chipboard embellishments from Blue Fern Studios.  One of the things I am passionate about is using laces and trims to decorate and cover chipboard albums.  So, for this album I used Blue Fern Studios Vintage Christmas Paper Collection to cover the album and I topped it off with some laces and trims I had.

Creating pockets for this project was just as easy as 1-2-3, because I simply cut the gorgeous calling cards from the collections and used trim to go over the edges.  I love cleaning up edges when creating and designs albums, because it just gives it a gorgeous finished look.

To finish off this project, I used Blue Fern Studios embossing powders and gave it that extra Christmas Glitter Touch.

Creating these albums with either paper and/or fabric is very fun!  I love being able to take a simple chipboard and turning it into a gorgeous piece full of luscious laces.  To adhere the paper to my pages I used my Creative Station Xyron Machine.  This machine allows me to create amazing projects with just a few simple steps.  The Xyron Machine makes it easy for me to be able to adhere the paper to my chipboard with out having to get air bubbles or corners lifting.

I hope this project inspires you to create an amazing album using laces, papers, fabric, and embellishments.
